Veto
the US calls for immunity
the freedom to act with impunity
without the threat that they might get
hauled up like all the rest of us
who signed the deal without a fuss
for the International Criminal Court
which over a hundred nations fought
to get established in the Hague
where tyrants can be brought to pay
so justice could be done at last
to right the wrongs of war crimes past
to bring some form of castigation
against the leaders of rogue nations
where learned lawyers might do their best
for the families of murdered wedding guestsmore ........
